I have decided on everything for my wedding: Alia, Alia Bhatt, Bollywood, bollywood updates, Entertainment News, Entertainment, Latest entertainment updates,

I have decided on everything for my wedding: Alia.
Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt, who made her ramp debut with the ongoing India Bridal Fashion Week, has no plan of tying the knot anytime soon but she has decided on everything for her wedding right from her lehenga to jewellery.
The 20-year-old 'Student of the Year' star said she will don a Manish Malhotra lehenga for her marriage in near future.
"Though I am too young to get married at this moment and I hate the idea of getting married so soon, but I have decided on my lehenga, colour and jewellery for it. Whenever it happens, my lehenga has to have Manish Malhotra because I relate to his design. I am not a jewellery person but I will wear those which will enhance my look," Alia told PTI.
Malhotra had designed her wardrobe for the Karan Johar's college drama which earned her the tag of the stylish female actor of Bollywood.Alia dazzled the ramp in a fitted gold gown and presented the luxury jewellery brand Azva's new bridal collection that is inspired from saat pheras (rounds) of Hindu marriage tradition.
The range consisted of neckpieces, bracelets, armlets, tiaras and bangles handcrafted with the idea of seven in it.
"This is the first time I am walking the ramp and I am lucky to be a showstopper for the brand. I could not have asked for more than walking the ramp wearing exquisite gold bridal jewellery. I was nervous and had the biggest fear that I will probably fall but my stars have been kind to me today and I didn't," she said.
Asked if she has thought something about her life partner, Alia said, "The biggest that I will consider whether I could connect to him or not. I don't have any restriction that I will not get married to an actor. The person could be a businessman or a diver," she said.

Khiladi 786 is an upcoming Action masala film directed by Ashish R Mohan. Featuring Akshay Kumar & Asin in the lead roles; Mithun Chakraborty, Paresh Rawal and Himesh Reshammiya will also appear in pivotal roles. It will be produced by Fox Searchlight Pictures, HR Musik Limited and Hari Om Entertainment. The film marks the return of Akshay Kumar to his famous Khiladi film series after 12 years since he acted in Khiladi 420. The music rights are sold to HR Musik, and movie is scheduled to release on 7th December 2012. This will be the second film in which Akshay Kumar would be paired opposite Asin after Housefull 2. Akshay Kumar will be matching steps with Polish-German model Claudia Ciesla in "Balma" item song. The first teaser of movie was released online on 4th October. It got 1.5 million views in 5 days and some industry watchers expect this film to be the biggest opener of Akshay Kumar's career.

Story And Plot
Born to an owner of a marriage bureau Champak Lal, Mansukh has been a complete failure ever since he has grown up and tried to help his father in their family business. All the alliances he had tried to get done have resulted in separation even before the marriage took place.
To prove his worth to his father, he takes up an unusual challenge of getting an underworld don TT bhai's spoilt brat sister Indu getting married to a cop called Bahattar Singh aka Khiladi 786 in Punjab and to add more to his problems he convinces even TT bhai to pretend as a cop but little did the over enthusiast know that Bahattar Singh, his father Sattar Singh and his uncle Ikhattar Singh were not cops but a family of conmen. The story takes a shape as the two hardcore families of two different states pretend to be policemen in front of each other and the beans from each side can be spilled anytime which can be life threatening for Mansukh.

What follows is a roller-coaster ride filled with music, romance, comedy and power packed action!
Production

Casting
Akshay kumar is in the lead (title) role of Khiladi 786. Himesh Reshammiya is playing the role of a Gujrati Guy Mansukh in this movie, and Paresh Rawal is playing the role of Mansukh's father Champaklal. Earlier, Ileana D'Cruz was reported to have signed the film. Later, this was proven false after actress Nargis Fakhri was signed for the film. Although, soon after the signing, Fakhri was dropped from the project as Amitabh Bachchan was earlier to be playing her older brother in the film, but due to Bachchan being replaced by Mithun Chakraborty, the producers of the film felt she wouldn't fit the role of Chakraborty's sister. It was later reported that either actress Ileana D'Cruz would rejoin the project, or Diana Penty will be replacing Fakhri in the project. In June 2012, Asin was signed to play the leading lady of the film, putting all rumours to a stop.
Filming
The shooting of the movie commenced from June 2, 2012 for a 20 day schedule in Kamalistan Studios. During the first schedule of Khiladi 786, Akshay performed a dangerous stunt where he jumped from a balcony of a bungalow of about 45 feet without any cables, wires or body- doubles. The only thing to soften his jump were some mattresses and card-boxes. The action sequences of the film have been provided by Jal Singh Nijjar. Ashis R Mohan was the assistant director of Rohit Shetty before.

If only the filmmakers understand that we’ve had too much of the clichéd cop image. First Dabangg, then Singham, then Rowdy Rathore and now Khiladi 786. And wait, there’s more…it’s Dabangg 2 in a few weeks from now. Khiladi 786 has all the conventional elements that a typical masala film has – a bad cop, a runaway bride, a lachar goon, songs after every few minutes…Yet, it fails to create an impact.

Rediff.com
Shubir Rishi feels Khiladi 786 is a wannabe funny movie, an assault on our collective intellect.
Disclaimer: The writer of this review has been brought up on a constant diet of bad-good movies such as Gunda, Clerk, Saawariya and Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon, and his patience for such movies is limitless.
BUT I have also lost count of the number of times I have wanted to run away, or close my eyes and wished the movie was finished. The last such movie was unfortunately another Akshay Kumar starrer called Joker. These movies come under a category called SO-bad-I-want-to-be-The-Punisher.

Shomini Sen
Writing and making thrillers is never easy. It has to be gripping, should engage the viewers and has to steer away from predictability. And Reema Kagti’s ‘Talaash’ scores in all these aspects. In fact the initial shots almost make the viewer think that there are parallel plots in the story. But Kagti beautifully joins all the dots. Kagti unravels only bit by bit but never really gives in to the viewer’s curiosity until the very end. In fact, the director makes you think in a certain way, just the way she would want people to think which culminates to a mind boggling end.

Aamir Khan is back and yes, with a bang. Even though this reviewer is not a die-hard fan of Aamir Khan, the truth is that you can love him or hate him, but there's no escaping his films. Talaash, which was originally slated to release last year, proves once again this actor’s films are not to be skipped and completely worth the wait.

NDTV.com Review
By no means is Talaash the end of your search for the perfect whodunit. But there is so much going for this compelling, slow-burning, well-acted tale set in the dark, grimy underbelly of Mumbai that you can barely take your eye off the screen.

Towards the middle of Reema Kagti's highly anticipated Talaash, an emotionally and physically exhausted Surjan Singh Shekhawat (Aamir Khan) lies down on a bed in a seedy hotel. Next to him is a gorgeous hooker -- Rosie (Kareena Kapoor). They had met early in the film. They are attracted to each other, but Shekhawat is a married man, although his marriage is going through a turbulent period. As Shekhawat closes his eyes, Rosie gently strokes his forehead and his hair, until he falls asleep. It is a tender moment -- rare for a Bollywood film, where love and caring is never expressed in such a mature, yet delicate manner. Much of Kagti's Talaash, which she co-wrote with Zoya Akhtar (it is the second writing credit they share after last year's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara) is mature in the way it handles its adult characters conflicted, troubled souls who are searching for ways to get over their personal and professional turmoil. On the surface Shekhawat is searching for answers to a puzzling car accident that resulted in the death of a movie star. As he gets a few clues, his investigation leads him inside the underbelly of Mumbai , the seedy world of hookers -- high class and otherwise, their pimps and the scavengers (a terrific Nawazuddin Siddiqui). But Shekhawat has a deeper personal issue that weighs on him. He and his wife (a luminous Rani Mukherjee, giving one of her career's best performances) are mourning the accidental death of their young son. The tragedy and the fact that the two do not talk about their loss, is slowly creating a rift in their marriage. Shekhawat also carries this personal trauma to work. His life is surely hellish, except when he gets a chance for some tender moments with Rosie, who becomes his confidante and a much needed therapist. In Talaash, Kagti weaves a complex web, and she colours it with the mood and the atmosphere she and her collaborators create. Talaash has the feel of a noir film -- a fine achievement for a Bollywood product, where the crisp cinematography by K U Mohanan (his credits include Ashim Ahluwalia's Miss Lovely, a dark exploration of the world of Bombay's C-grade films) and the haunting background score by Ram Sampath keeps us on the edge.

Student Of The Year (SOTY) traces the life of Abhimanyu Singh (Sidharth Malhotra), a small town boy with a big ambition, Rohan Nanda (Varun Dhawan) – a rich kid, who is emotionally messed up because of a complex relationship with his father (Ram Kapoor) and Shanaya Singhania (Alia Bhatt), the girl every boy is in love with and every girl aspires to be in high school – popular, rich and gorgeous.
Rohan and Shanaya are childhood sweethearts in a tricky relationship (Rohan has quite the roving eye) and among the popular students of St. Teresa’s High School or St. T’s as it is fondly called. But things seem to go awry for all when Abhimanyu enters and ego clashes between the two boys play havoc. But after a series of verbal spats followed by a few practical jokes and some heartwarming moments, the two become thick as thieves.
Amidst all this, the much coveted Student Of The Year competition, founded by gay Dean Yogendra Vashisth (Rishi Kapoor, who’s track with coach Ronit Roy is amongst the highlight of the films), keeps everyone busy. But things get messy when Abhimanyu falls for Shanaya and she reciprocates to his feelings. Healthy competition turns into revenge as Rohan and Abhimanyu grapple with their emotions.

Even though SOTY is a high-school drama, at no point in the film does Karan offend the audiences intelligence. Every scene in the film engrosses you. While he takes familiar material, it’s his modern take that makes SOTY a special film.
Among the performances, Sidharth, Varun and Alia do their best not to seem like newcomers and they emerge triumphant. Sidharth’s restraint is impressive. Varun is charming; his brilliant dancing skills deserve a special mention. And Alia definitely has what it takes to be a star. The three make confident debuts.
Vishal-Shekhar’s foot-tapping compositions keep you in your seats. You’re not going to want to buy popcorn during these songs! Kajol’s cameo in Disco Deewane is sure to get the whistles. The cinematography and styling make this one helluva good-looking film.
A few scenes deserve special mention – the nail-biting climax of the competition, a silent sequence with just music playing in the background, Rishi Kapoor drooling over John Abraham’s six-pack body and his fantasizing moments with Ronit Roy.

Karan deserves brownie points for a brilliant supporting cast. Kayoze Irani (Boman Irani’s son) stands out. Ram Kapoor does a fabulous job as the selfish businessman and bad father. His performance makes you feel sorry for Rohan, who subconsciously craves his dad’s approval through most of the film.

All in all, Karan’s SOTY world is surreal and spectacular yet it has moments that will bring you back to reality and warm the cockles of your heart. This is escapism at its best. Oh and girls, there’s enough brawn to keep you drooling
